Gurbetçiler keeps a spec change from becoming a different bid

Gurbetçiler Plastik is an Istanbul manufacturer of building and infrastructure plastics, from concrete rebar spacers to rail fastenings, and its About page reports exports to more than 60 countries. This case study follows one project deal in Senitix CRM as the drawing, the sample and the quote move from technical review to a currency-matched export version and the production handoff.

The challenge

A spec change can outrun the quote that named it

A building-products order rarely starts from one source: a drawing from a design office, a quantity estimate from the contractor, and sometimes a price question from an export distributor met at a trade show. They tend to land days apart. A sample goes out, the site asks for a different cover height or pedestal range, and the quote has to be rewritten.

When those revisions sit in email threads and spreadsheets, the plant can build against a version the site already replaced, and a distributor’s price request can wait in the wrong inbox while a trade-show lead goes cold. Nobody can say with confidence which quote the buyer is actually ordering from.

The solution

One project deal, from technical review to an export-ready quote

Senitix CRM keeps the technical and commercial thread of a project on the same deal.

  • Qualify the project, not just the contact: Each qualified inquiry becomes a deal on the contractor’s or distributor’s account. Custom fields hold application, product line, estimated quantity and delivery window, and the Documents module files the drawing and the sample report, so the design office and the buyer look at the same version.
  • Keep every revision as a numbered quote: Quotes are built from the price book and saved as numbered versions on the deal, and an export quote can go out in the distributor’s currency. A discount past the agreed threshold goes through an approval before it is sent.
  • Hand the approved scope to the plant: When the deal is won, an automation hands the production and dispatch tasks to their owners with the approved version and delivery window attached, and the accepted quote continues into an order without retyping its line items.

Need the plant to ship the version the distributor actually approved?
